The Last Call

Oh man, it took me forever to get back to this and actually write a comment . . . I guess this was just too stunning for me to write words for it when I first saw it. Truly. The moment this popped up in my messages, I was amazed! The things you did here were just so brilliantly executed.

Her pose, for one, is a lot more dynamic than your usual stuff, and the manner which you drew the mane and tail reinforce that. The way you 'laid out' her body also gave the pose a touch of swiftness and elegance. Another thing I liked was her expression. A very nicely executed expression of wonder you did here, which is nicely tied in to the title you gave this piece. The background was also pretty cool. It really did add to the piece and was a very clever bit of improv, especially the layout, but it would've been nice if you'd given it the same amazing treatment as the pony here.

Although I do think you should be proud of both of them, especially the pony, as she is truly the centrepiece here. Overall, I'm pretty stunned by the improvement you've had in these last few weeks.
